What is the Human Race?
The Human Race is a 5K and 2-mile run/walk community fundraiser. Area non-profits, service clubs and schools will be invited to participate by bringing teams of runners/walkers who have raised pledges for their organization. The organization will receive 75% of the proceeds. The remaining amount goes to the Volunteer Center to support the Human Race event and provide volunteer services within Fond du Lac County.

When is the Human Race 2012?
The Human Race will be held on Saturday, September 29—Rain or Shine at Lakeside Park!
  • Registration: 8:00 a.m. - Registration on Oven Island
  • Run Begins: 9:00 a.m.
  • Walk Begins: Immediately following the runners

Who does the Human Race benefit?

Funds can be raised for any 501(c)3 organization, school, church, service club or human service agency in Fond du Lac County.

How do I sign up for the Human Race?

This website allows participants to register online as an individual walker, member of a team, or as a family. Upon registering, each participant will receive a personal fundraising page. Upon creating a personal fundraising page participants can begin collecting pledges for their non-profit for the event.

Why the Human Race?

The Volunteer Center promotes volunteerism and strengthens community service efforts by creating volunteer opportunities in which everyone can get involved. The Human Race is one means of bringing together and supporting the over 140 partner agencies in Fond du Lac County. The Volunteer Center is responsible for the organization, promotion and running of the Human Race.
